Who we are

A clinic behind every panel

Ultra Clinics Australia is a family-owned and operated team of skin specialists. Since 2019, we've specialised in non-invasive HIFU treatments in our Adelaide and Melbourne clinics.

We chose to focus on medical-grade red and near-infrared light therapy not only for the skin, but for overall wellness. Its role in pain relief and recovery makes it an essential part of our own recovery stack.

Every panel ships from our Mile End clinic, and our Australian team is here if you have questions.

Why serious users choose Ultra

Built for control, not guesswork

Most panels give you an on switch. Ours give you every setting, with honest specs to back them up.

01

Nine wavelengths

480, 590, 630, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850 and 1060 nm, from visible blue through to deep infrared.

02

Every channel, your way

Dim each wavelength independently from 1 to 100%, and pulse from 1 to 10,000 Hz, from the touchscreen or remote.

03

Six built-in programs

Muscle, Joint, Sleep, Skin, Inflammation and Pets presets, or build and save your own mix.

04

Specs you can check

Irradiance is quoted with the distance it was measured at, and every wavelength is listed, not just the headline ones.

05

Included on the ARTG

A Class IIa medical device in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG 452667), built to ISO 13485 and IEC 60601 standards.

06

20-month warranty

Every panel is covered for 20 months, with support from our team in Adelaide.

The research

Science-backed wavelengths

Red and near-infrared light has been studied in thousands of peer-reviewed papers. Here are some of the studies behind the wavelengths in our panels.

Blue lightStudy used 415 nm

Blue and red light for breakouts

24 adults with acne had alternating blue (415 nm) and red (633 nm) LED light twice a week for four weeks. Inflammatory lesions fell by an average of 77.9%, and non-inflammatory lesions by 34.3%.

Amber light590 nm

Amber light and skin texture

Clinicians reported their experience using pulsed 590 nm LED light in around 900 patients with sun-aged skin. Patients treated with the LED alone reported softer skin and fewer fine lines.

Red light611–650 nm

Red light and collagen

In a controlled trial of 136 volunteers, 30 sessions of red light over 15 weeks significantly improved skin complexion, roughness and ultrasound-measured collagen density compared with an untreated control group.

Near-infrared810–850 nm range

Near-infrared and muscle recovery

A meta-analysis of 13 randomised placebo-controlled trials found that red and near-infrared light (laser and LED) applied before exercise increased repetitions and time to exhaustion. The authors concluded it improves muscle performance and speeds recovery.

InfraredStudy used 1064 nm

Deep infrared and skin firmness

50 patients treated with 1064 nm near-infrared showed objective improvements in pores, texture and wrinkles on imaging, and skin biopsies showed increased elastin that lasted to 90 days. This study used a laser rather than LEDs.

Pulsed vs continuous

Why pulsing matters

A review from Harvard's Wellman Center looked at studies that compared pulsed light with continuous light. In 6 of the 9 head-to-head comparisons, pulsed light gave better results. The authors suggest pulsing may let light work deeper in tissue and give cells time to respond between pulses.

Hashmi JT, Huang YY, Sharma SK, et al. Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, 2010; 42(6): 450–466. Read the study ↗

In skin models, sequentially pulsed 660 nm light raised type-1 procollagen by 31% and lowered MMP-1, an enzyme that breaks collagen down, by 18%. In the clinical arm, 87% of participants had a lower wrinkle severity score after 12 treatments. Collagen remodelling is central to how skin and scars repair.

Every wavelength in our panels can be pulsed from 1 to 10,000 Hz or run continuously, so you can choose either mode.

These are independent published studies. They used a range of devices, doses and protocols, and none of them tested Ultra Clinics panels specifically. Individual results vary. Speak to your healthcare professional if you have a medical condition.

Your routine

Fits into the way you already live

Use it while you stretch, read or wind down. Set your wavelengths once, save them, and every session after that is one tap away.

Which panel is right for me?

There's no wrong choice here. Both panels share the same nine wavelengths, controls, programs and 20-month warranty, so you get the same technology either way. The right one simply comes down to your goals and how you prefer to use it.

Why our panels cost less

Panels with similar technology often cost significantly more. The difference isn't inside the panel. It's everything that gets added around it.

01

No paid influencers. Ever.

We don't pay influencers or run sponsored campaigns to sell our panels, so you're not paying for them either.

02

No fancy boxes

Your panel arrives in protective manufacturer packaging, not a costly presentation box that ends up in the bin.

03

No huge markups

Our HIFU specialist clinics have been established since 2019, so we don't need to inflate prices to build a brand. We sell direct, at an honest price.

What you pay for is the technology: nine wavelengths, full control, medical-device standards and support from our team in Adelaide.

Our range

From the creators of The Ultra Laser Red Light Mask

Our team also created the Ultra Laser Red Light Mask, a facial device included on the ARTG that uses 288 VCSEL laser diodes across four wavelengths.

The same standards for output, build quality and honest specs go into every panel we sell.
